betPawa is set to host customers and football fans at a thrilling live match viewing experience for the Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid UEFA Champions League final that will take place on Saturday June 1st. 

The event dubbed Soka Live na betPawa is to take place at Kona ya Bwiru in Mwanza and will be preceded by a host of activities, including a mini football tournament featuring four community clubs from the area. 

Ahead of the tournament, betPawa donated football items such as kits and balls to the teams, which were Channel Africans FC, Bwiru FC, Majengo FC, and Tiger FC

“As we wait for the exciting final of Europe’s most prestigious competition, we want to also give back to our local football communities and fans to help build the game in Tanzania as well,” said betPawa’s Country Marketing Manager Borah Ndanyungu. 

“This sport has the ability to bring us honour as a country and there is nothing stopping our budding footballers from aspiring to feature in such a distinguished competition,” Ndanyungu added. 

The last Soka Live na betPawa event was held at Juliana Restaurant in Dar es Salaam on February 11th 2024 during the Africa Cup of Nations final between Nigeria and the hosts Ivory Coast. During the event, betPawa customers were treated to fun trivias, customised giveaway gifts and great music, besides enjoying the highly competitive final. 

For the last UCL final held on June 10th in Istanbul, Turkey, betPawa’s Soka Live event was held in Dodoma, bringing together hundreds of football fans for a night of fun.
